Abstract:
The tourism industry is characterized by a high degree of innovation, from the introduction of new products and services to the adoption of new technologies and business models. Customer experiences and perceptions of innovation have also become an important factor with the development of a consumer-based framework for measuring innovation in tourism.
This paper aims to explore consumer attitudes towards tourism innovation using a review of existing literature and a survey. For this purpose, a literature review is carried out presenting the behavior of different generations of tourists and their attitude towards technology. A practical study of the attitudes of tourists towards the innovations implemented by the tourism business is carried out. As a result of the study, the main innovations related to the search for information and the choice of a destination and tourist site are outlined.
