Abstract:
Tourism and geographical development throughout the greater area of the Una National Park (NP Una) have resulted in multiple social and cultural benefits, improving the tourism environment. In addition to its distinctive natural beauty, the park’s larger territory connects rural communities and various cultural and archaeological sites. The modern trend of “returning to nature” boosted the growth of visits and the popularity of this ecotourist destination. Interviews and field observations were conducted along with studious examinations of relevant scientific literature and strategic documentation. Tourism has launched the development of tourism and supporting infrastructure, international cooperation, and cultural amelioration in NP Una and its surrounding environment, highlighting the vital role of national parks in local development.
